Recruitment for the program is based on available slots and is currently CLOSED. As slots become
- Be a United States citizen
- Be a Montgomery County Resident
- At least 21 years of age
- Have no felony arrests
- Have no misdemeanor convictions within the last 5 years
- Not to have been charged with any domestic violence offense
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid Tennessee Drivers License
- Have acceptable credit
- Pass the Oral Interview before the Reserve Deputy Board
- Pass a physical to include a drug screen
- Meet the psychological standards required by the MCSO pursuant to TCA38-8-106
- Be able to volunteer and work a minimum of one shift per month
- Be able to attend the monthly training session
- Be willing to volunteer for special assignments as needed
